Trump Met With RFK Jr. Seeking Endorsement

(ConservativeJournal.org) – Former President Donald Trump sat down with third-party independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on July 15, reportedly seeking his endorsement according to multiple unnamed sources and the corporate press. No endorsement has arrived in the intervening days since the meeting.

Sources described the discussion as pertaining to national unity, and it was suggested that Trump intended to meet with major Democratic party leaders to continue the discussion and advance a more prosperous society instead of one tearing itself apart.

RFK campaign press secretary Stefanie Spear told reporters that her boss wasn’t going to drop out and endorse Trump. She said that RFK is the only environmental advocate, anti-war, and pro-choice candidate in the race and highlighted that he beats Trump in one-on-one polling.

Trump also issued calls that RFK receive Secret Service protection in the wake of the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 13. Twenty-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks has been identified as the shooter, though many questions remain, like how Crooks was able to escape detection by security, climb onto a nearby roof where police snipers were stationed inside, and open fire on the former president. Crooks’s gunfire killed one rally-goer and injured two more; he also clipped Trump in the ear, requiring his emergency evacuation from the stage.

Mayorkas said that he issued the orders to set up a Secret Service detail for RFK per instructions he received from Joe Biden. Trump cited current events and the Kennedy family history as relevant reasons to activate a protective detail. RFK is currently polling around 10% nationwide, and should Joe Biden drop out of the race, many Democrats may consider him an effective alternative to Trump.

A video posted by RFK III showed Trump agreeing with RFK Jr. that there’s “something wrong” with the entire medical system and vaccine approval process. The corporate press responded rapidly attempting to indict Trump as somehow conspiring with RFK as the pair discussed similarities in their politics. They also slighted Trump for “anti-vaccine rhetoric” despite it being well established that the experimental injections for the 2020 pandemic were not “safe and effective” as claimed by members of the government as well as the corporate press and medical authorities at the time.
