MSNBC Host Melts Down Over Biden Being Asked About His Rhetoric

(ConservativeJournal.org) – Corporate pundit Nicolle Wallace was irate and borderline yelling about “right-wing domestic violent extremism” during a discussion regarding the assassination attempt on Donald Trump on July 13.

Wallace is known for her flagrant disdain for the former and likely future president and the discussion was focused on a recent interview Biden gave to corporate pundit Lester Holt on Monday, July 15 wherein Biden seemed to regret a prior suggestion that it was time to “put Trump in the bullseye.” Biden had made the comment on a phone call with donors just five days prior to the attempted assassination.

In his discussion with Holt, Biden claimed his comment was meant as a metaphor for focusing on Trump. Despite the claim, Trump was literally targeted by a shooter just five days later and Republicans have been highlighting that Democrat rhetoric surrounding Donald Trump has gone too far with comments like Biden’s.

Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) claimed Trump wanted to “become an Adolf Hitler or a Kim Jong Un” and also suggested that Trump would bring an end to the current system of American governance. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) suggested Trump was eager to become “a dictator.” Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed Trump threatened American governance as well as the Constitution.

Wallace suggested that Biden should have handled the question about the bullseye comment differently, invoking claims by FBI Director Christopher Wray that domestic terrorism is the most pressing threat to American national security. “Go talk to them,” Wallace suggested while snapping her fingers and pointing.

New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay suggested Wallace was right, and highlighted that the reason the board chose to suggest Biden step down was that he can’t “make the case for himself as we just saw.” The panelists all lean left.

Leaders of both major parties have called for a cooling of the rhetoric in the wake of the attempted assassination. Biden gave an error-ridden speech the day after wherein he made the suggestion. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) also gave public comments to that effect the following Monday.
