Vance Promises To Increase Weapons And Cash Shipments To Israel

(ConservativeJournal.org) – Donald Trump’s choice for vice president, Senator JD Vance of Ohio, blames President Biden’s lack of backing for Israel for the ongoing conflict in Gaza. In an interview with Fox News, Vance emphasized his “America First” foreign policy, which includes significantly increasing military and financial aid to Israel to help it defeat Hamas.

In the interview, Vance stated that Biden has not made any effort to truly help Israel. He said that Israel is struggling to win because of him.

Vance echoed Israel’s concerns that Biden is “micromanaging” Netanyahu’s operations, preventing a more forceful attack on Gaza. He believes Israel should receive all necessary support to end the conflict quickly.

He also emphasized the necessity of restarting the peace negotiations between Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Israel after the conflict ends. Vance suggested that a second Trump term would advance the Abraham Accords, aiming to bring peace and security to Israel and the Middle East.

The Abraham Accords were made in 2020, uniting Israel, Morocco, the UAE, and Bahrain together to counter Iran’s regional threat through improved relations. Vance believes this accord is one of the best ways to push peace in the Arab world.

Vance’s plan includes strengthening alliances between Israel and surrounding Sunni Arab states to form a united front against Iran. He emphasized the importance of continuity between Trump’s first and potential second term in the Middle East.

During his presidency, Trump took a hostile stance against Iran, increasing sanctions, eliminating important military commanders like Qassem Soleimani, and targeting Iran’s military infrastructure. Despite Hamas being a Sunni group, its ties with Iran’s Shia proxies, including Hezbollah, have reportedly deepened. A second Trump term would likely focus on these growing alliances.

Regarding Biden’s military operations against Iranian proxies, Vance called them “weak” and reaffirmed Trump’s policy of limited but decisive involvement in combat. He assured that Trump would still be the biggest ally of Israel if re-elected.
