Boebert Under Investigation After Physical Altercation With Ex Husband

(ConservativeJournal.org) – Rep. Lauren Boebert is a favorite target of the establishment media. Whether it’s making a scene while on a date with an alleged Democrat operative, moving into a new district so she has a better shot at getting elected again, or allegedly punching her ex-husband while at a restaurant, the media loves to talk about her.

Yes, you read that correctly. Rep. Lauren Boebert was accused of punching her ex, Jayson Boebert, in the face multiple times after they had an argument at the Miner’s Claim restaurant in Silt, Colorado, within Boebert’s district on Saturday, January 6th.

Indicating the political agenda in covering Boebert’s personal squabbles, the first to report the story was the American Muckrakers, a political organization working to oust Boebert from the House. The group is led by a former failed state Senate candidate David Wheeler and frequently reports anonymous accusations which portray Boebert in a negative light. Their shenanigans have become frequent enough that Boebert’s lawyer sent a 3-page letter to Wheeler responding to his claims and dismissing them as false. The next step would be a civil suit.

The allegations of assault came from Jayson Boebert, who made the call to police and claimed to be a victim of domestic violence. Jayson Boebert has since said he didn’t want to advance the charges and explained that the conversation they were having was a difficult one. He refused to answer further questions when speaking on the phone with The Denver Post.

Police Chief Mike Kite confirmed an investigation was ongoing to The Denver Post, but couldn’t discuss the details. The police said they’ll issue a public statement once their investigation concludes. They plan to review surveillance camera footage.

Lauren Boebert called it “a sad situation” and cited the escapade as one of the reasons she’s relocating. She denied punching Jayson and pointed out there were no arrests at the scene.

Lauren Boebert filed for divorce in April 2023, claiming the couple was suffering from “irreconcilable differences,” the divorce was finalized in October. The couple has four children and one grandchild and were married in 2005.
